This tape, released by Stygian Black Hand from New York, features four tracks. The sound is a bit muffled due to the excessive use of reverb, but that doesn’t take away from the overall experience.
When it comes to the songs themselves, this is a solid collection that proves the members of Lepraknow how to write strong compositions. The standout is “In Silence She Lays Still,” an infectious track that lingers in your subconscious.
Alongside three raw Black Metal assaults, “Morning Mist Horizon” showcases a slightly more restrained side of these Cadaver Rockers.
A solid debut tape that’s definitely worth checking out. Let’s see what else Lepra has in store for us.
