Vergankelijk was founded in November 2023 by C. (Wurgilnô) with the idea of creating a trilogy about the transience of the human body. The trilogy is planned in three parts: the mind, the body, and the soul.
In 2024, J. (Nether) joined the project as a vocalist. Thanks to his expertise from his profession, the lyrics were rewritten in Dutch, and new songs were recorded and planned.
In January 2025, the first single for the upcoming album De Geest was released on major streaming platforms. This single will also be released as an 8” EP by the Belgian label Saturni Records.
